Beijing, our capital city. Our first stop will be at Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Dominating the north side of the square is the massive red Tian’anmen Gate through which we will pass into the fabled Forbidden City and another age, where we will see the home of the members of the royal family and their court during China’s Ming and Qing Dynasties. After lunch take afternoon express train to
Hangzhou, after about 6 hours train journey arrive in

Hangzhou and has inspired Chinese painters for centuries. In Chinese legend West Lake has been referred to a jewel fallen from the heavens. Next visit Six Harmony Pagoda, first built in 970AD during the Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127), the Six Harmony Pagoda represents the six Buddhist ordinances, harmonies of heaven, earth, north, south, west, and east. From top of the pagoda there is and impressive view of the Qiantang River. Afternoon you have the chance to visit the famous Tea Village of Meijiawu to enjoy high-class Drong Well Tea. Meijiawu Tea Village: to understand the brilliant past and equally bright future of tea in China, there is one place where a visit is a must, Meijiawu Village,
Hangzhou that is located in the West Lake District. Here elaborate tea taking ceremonies are held, you will be able to understand why partaking in tea ceremonies is of such importance in Chinese culture. Last visit Huqingyu Tang, founded by Hu Xueyuan in 1878, and it pairs up with
Beijing Tongrentang as the famous south and north ancient medicine shops of the nation.

With a surface area of about 2,338 square kilometers (about 902 square miles), Taihu Lake is a famous scenic spot in China and is famed for its lake, its hills and its splendid man-made scenery. The lake has 40 islets which are home to animals and trees and plants. Then visit Li Garden, lies by Li Lake. It is said that Fan Li who was a prime minister of the Yue State in Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC – 476 BC) was very meritorious in helping the king to conquer another state. However he has decided to live in privacy with Xi Shi (one of the Four Beauties in ancient China) after the big success was achieved. They live in this area and boated in Li Lake. In order to commemorate Fan Li, the lake was named after his name. However, the garden was named after the lake. Next comes Huishan Clay Figure Workshop which famous with a history dating from the Nan Dynasty but it really prospered in Ming Dynasty. Then drive to

Suzhou – Shanghai by driving B/L
Drive to Shanghai and visit the Yuyuan Garden. Laid out in the 16th century by a Ming official, this small (2 hectares) garden is a delight of pools, pavilions and rock gardens. Strolling through the bazaar surrounding the garden, you will find lines of stores that sell traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Then Shanghai Old City which is visually charming despite its touristy character on weekends. Unlike in central Shanghai where many old buildings were demolished to make room for modern skyscrapers, those in Shanghai Old City were preserved or reconstructed.
