Day 1 After arriving in Kunming "the Spring City", you will then check into the hotel. Your sightseeing begins at the Bamboo Temple. (D) Overnight in Kunming Day 2 Sightseeing includes the Stone Forest, which is one of the great natural wonders of China. This Stone Forest is the largest in the world. You will then enjoy Yiliang duck and famous Yunnan tea in a traditional restaurant. (B/L/D) Overnight in Kunming
Day 3 Take a flight to Lijiang, which is one of the best-preserved ancient towns of the minority ethnic people of China. Lijiang belongs to the World Culture Heritage of UNESCO. In the Dongba Museum, you can see the pictograph that was developed by the Naxi Nationality 1,000 years ago. This pictograph is still being used today. Then a local expert will take you first to the ancient city of Lijiang where you can admire the beautiful wooden houses and water systems. A traditional dinner will be served, followed by a lively Naxi music show. (B/L/D) Overnight in Lijiang Day 4 After the breakfast you will then drive for 5 hours to Zhongdian, which is the gateway to Tibet. There you will experience authentic Tibetan culture in this mountainous region. On the way you will visit the Tiger-leaping-gorge on the Yangtze River. Then you will visit Shigu village that lies on the First Bend of the Yangtze River. (B/L/D) Overnight in Zhongdian
Day 5 In the morning you will visit the 300 years old Songzanlin Monastery, where the Yellow Hat School of Tibetan Buddhism is practiced. Also you will visit Shudu Lake. Make use of this chance to visit a Tibetan family, and experience the rural life of the local people. You will then return to Lijiang. (B/L/D) Overnight in Lijiang
Day 6 Today's journey takes you to the 3,400 meter high Yunshan Meadow, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains (cable car trip) which is 5,596 meters above sea level and the Baisha village with it' s frescos from the Qing Dynasty. You will then drive to Dali via the highway. Upon arrival Dali, you will then check into the hotel. (B/L/D) Overnight in Dali
Day 7 The tour starts with a boat ride in Erhai Lake, where you can enjoy the Bai Nationality Three-course-tea and folk dance. Special Bai food such as sour and spicy fish will be served during lunch. The rest of the afternoon will be free for you to discover the old town of Dali and its colorful markets. Then back to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, where you will stay overnight. (B/L/D) Overnight in Kunming
Day 8 Your sightseeing begins in the Western Hills and the Dragon-gate-temple. Then you will visit The Golden Horse & Green Peacock Archways. You will then be transferred to the airport for your departure. (B)
