Day 3

Xian Lake and Tonghai, visit the 800-year-old Buddhist Temples at Xiushan Park and on to Xinmeng Village said to be inhabited by descendants of the Mongolian army of Kublai Khan. Day 3/4 explore the venerable old town of Jianshui with lovely Confucian Temple, ancient buildings and the small restored village of Tuanshan.

Day 4
Further sightseeing in Jianshui. Then drive to Yuanyang for its famous rice terraces, cut into the mountains by local Hani people over thousands of years. Visit villages on the way and get a glimpse of traditional life.

Day 5

Then drive about 3 hours to Hekou, on the border of Sino-Vietnam, for lunch then leave for Sapa in Vietnam. Our car and local guide will pick you up at the Hekou Boder Gate in Lao Cai, then transfer to Sapa for hotel check-in. Have dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 6 Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi
bbbwww.Chinakindnesstour.comVisit Lao Chai and Ta Van villages - Lao Chai village, inhabited by the Black Hmong hill tribe. We walk into the valley from Lao Cai to Ta Van, where the Giay tribal people live. Back to hotel and have dinner in a local restaurant. We go by jeep to explore Taphin village of Red Zao people, Silver Waterfall, Gate of Heaven. Back to Sapa at lunch time. Day 7 Hanoi City Tour

After breakfast, we will enjoy a full day city tour of Vietnam's capital. Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples.

Day 8 Hanoi – Halong Bay

Arrive in Ha Long and board a private junk for a 5-hour cruise on the emerald green waters of Ha Long Bay, among the 3,000 spectacular limestone islands. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on board. Disembark at the dock of Halong City. Check in hotel and free time until dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 9 Halong Bay
