Morning take flight form Sichuan to Tibet. Upon your arrival, meet the local guide and transfer to Lhasa. On the way, you can enjoy the highland view along the Yarlong Tsangpo River (the longest river in Tibet). The rest time is free for relax and more oxygen.

The first day of sightseeing starts from Lhasa's cardinal landmark- Potala Palace, dominating the skyline of Lhasa and Tibet’s best-known landmark. In the afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple, the most important pilgrimage center for Tibetan Buddhist, and home of the Sakyamuni Buddha. Then walk through the colorful bazaar on Barkhor Street.

In the morning, drive to Niangre Valley for some hiking around the valley. In the afternoon back to Lhasa to visit Sera Monastery. Sera was the last of the three principal Gelupka, or Yellow Hat, Buddhist monasteries to be built in Lhasa. Sera has been listed as one of the China's National Cultural Relics since 1982.

Today, you'll explore outside of Lhasa. After breakfast, drive 110km to visit Yamdrok Lake. The holy Yamdrok Yumtso Lake lies to the south of Yarlong Tsangpo River in the Shannan Region of Tibet. The lake is one of three holy lakes in Tibet. It is the largest freshwater lake at the south foot of the Himalayas with an area of about 638 square kilometers (about 246 square miles). The Yamdrok Yumtso Lake has some beautiful and vivid names like Coral Lake or Green Jade Lake. As one of the three holy lakes, the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake is said to be the female Guardian of Buddhism in Tibet. People here believe that it will bless and protect them. Every year, many devotional followers in Tibet or from other places would come here for pilgrimage. Some of them start on foot and give one prostration every three steps even from hundreds of kilometers away. All of these visitors bring much mystery and dignity to the charming holy Yamdrok Yumtso Lake.

In the early morning, you will drive to see the giant Buddha show which is the opening ceremony of Shoton Festival. It is also known as Tibetan Opera Festival, one of the major festivals in Tibet. The founder of the Gelugpa (Yellow Sect of Buddhism), Tsongkhapa set the rule that Buddhists can cultivate themselves only indoor in summer, to avoid killing other creatures carelessly. Because creatures are most active in summer.This rule must be carried out till the seventh lunar month. Then Buddhists go outdoors, accept yoghurt served by local people, and have fun. Since the middle of 17th century, the Fifth Dalai Lama added opera performance to this festival. Famous Tibetan opera troupes perform in Norbulingka (Dalai Lama's summer palace). Next, visit Drepung Monastery which used to be world's largest monastery with a population of around 10,000 monks. Then go to Norbulingka - Dalai Lama's Summer Palace, an easy visit, during the Shoton Festival, local people will go to the park for picnic and Tibetan opera show. You will visit the Horse Racing Festival in Naqju grassland, in the morning watch Horse Race activities, get to known the nomads life. You will have enough time to take photos on the vast typical green-carpet-like Tibetan Grassland. After that drive back to Damshung.

You will drive to Namtso Lake; enjoy the highest salt lake in the world. It is one of the 3 holiest lakes in Tibet. You may have some time for riding the yaks (cost excluded) and taking pictures. Around 2:00pm drive back to Lhasa. En route, visit the Yambajan which is famous for geothermal hot spring. You may have the chance to enjoy the hot spring (cost excluded).6:30pm around you will arrive in Lhasa.

Chengdu. In the afternoon drive about 30 minutes to
Chengdu Panda Base-- Panda Breeding and Research Center, visit Giant Panda Museum, see the lovely tender pandas, take pictures with a panda in your arms by donating some money for panda base. After earthquake, 8 pandas were sent to here from Wolong. And in this hard time your help is so much important for giant pandas.
