Shijiazhuang, Qinhuangdao, chengde, Baoding, Tangshan, Cangzhou, Handan and Zhangjiakou are major tourist cities. Shijiazhuang, situated in central-south Hebei, is the capital city as well as the province's political, economic and cultural center.
