The Chengdu Arts Center, having floor area of 27,200 square meters, houses a concert hall, a theater, an art gallery, hotel, restaurants, cafeterias, recreational facilities and department stores. The theater, covering an area of 1,318 square meters, has 760 seats. The stage machinery and controlling equipment have the function of pushing, pulling, lifting and revolving. Stage light control and altitude system meets the requirement of performances of opera, ballet, stage play, drama and other variety shows. The concert hall, covering 1,160 square meters and having 850 seats, is suitable for performances of symphonies, national orchestral music, chamber music, and recitals of vocalists or instrumentalists as well as fashion shows. The art gallery, covering an area of 890 square meters, can be used for various fine arts exhibitions, popular science exhibitions, and press conferences on new products. Three rehearsal rooms covering a total area of 650 square meters are available for the rehearsal of different dramas. In addition, special rooms are available for conducting various art training such as dance, vocal music and instrumental music.
The center is provided with modernized communication, monitoring and an automatic fire alarm system and a central-controlled air conditioning system. Sectional heating or cooling is possible. Three elevators make it very convenient for reaching different floors.
