Shenzhen, Shenzhen Grand Theater is one of the most modern theat
ers in China. Covering a total area of 43,780 square meters with a building space of 33,357 square meters, it is a comprehensive and multifunctional modern building. It has a 1500-seat theater and a 600-seat music hall, the stage design and lights control of which are at international standard. The theater also has service facilities of gallery, exhibition halls, nightclubs, Chinese restaurant, western restaurant, coffee shop, supermarket, Commercial Street, and underground parking lot. Shenzhen Grand Theater Art Festival is held in the theater every year. Since the trial operation in May 1989, it has received world famous art troupes from Russia, D.P.
