Workers' Cultural Palace Theater | |

Location: No.30-1 Yuan Street Telephone: 7342531 It is located inside the Workers' Cultural Palace and is the largest theater in downtown Yangzhou, with a total floor space of 1,067 square meters. The 1,500-seat theater also has an art gallery. |

Eight cinemas are distributed across Yangzhou city, of which three have film projecting equipment with a high-grade stereophonic sound system. They are luxuriantly decorated and have establishes chartered rooms and comfortable seats. The eight cinemas show two films each day and sell tickets at various prices.

Yangzhou boasts a rich and colorful nightlife. In the city center, there scatter 97 song and dance halls of various sizes, 6 ballrooms and 10 karaoke halls. The well-known “Casablanca Entertainment Club” has a disco bar, American style bar and European-style performance stage, 10 KTV rooms, and can accommodate 250 people. Other dance halls include the AA Disco Club and the New Century Dance Hall. They provide considerate services for local residents and visitors from home and abroad.

Many hotels and restaurants in Yangzhou have fitness centers. The fitness center of the Xiyuan Restaurant has imported equipment such as bicycles, rowing apparatus, running treadmills and multi-functional exercising apparatus, with coaches standing by. The New Century Hotel has installed imported equipment in its bowling Center. Some restaurants and hotels also have luxuriant indoor swimming pools.
