In addition to providing accidental injury insurance for visiting groups, Hangzhou has worked together with the Hangzhou Branch of the zhongbao Life Insurance Co. Ltd. to provide a new insurance policy especially for the sightseeing program of the One-day West Lake Tour, considering the large number of visitors participating in the program.
According to the No.9 Decree issued by the National tourism Administration, from September 1, 1997 on, all the 23 international travel agencies and the 45 travel agencies that organize domestic tourist groups in Hangzhou have covered accidental injury insurance for visiting groups, with an 100% insurance rate.
