Quanzhou County is 129 km away from Guilin. The Xiangshan Ancient Temple has been well known as the first temple in south of Chu. It was established in 756AD by a famous monk of Tang Dynasty. It has received five ceremonies of worship from five emperors. There are flying-from-afar stone, cymbidium picture of Shi Tao, a famous painter of Qing dynasty and inscription of "Shou Shi Ci Yin" by Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, Longevity Budda hall and Xiboyan Spring. Miaoming Tower is featured by unique structure and inscriptions. Fangsheng (setting free captive animals) Pond has stone sculptures of flocking animals, which are vividly made and there are no such kind of works in other places.
