White Clouds Ancient Caves, also called White Clouds Valley, is located in Man Nationality Autonomous County of Fengning, Chengde City. It covers an area of about 4 square kilometers within it there are cliff peaks, strange caves, deep valleys, clear brooks, winding paths and old trees. There you are able to feel the strange, the grand, the graceful and the natural beauty. Of course, you will see some different styles of temples.
You can go into the scenic spot only by the mountain gate. There are many caves on the mountain in which White Clouds Ancient Caves, Eight Precious Caves, Haha Caves are the most popular, White Clouds Caves are the largest with over 600 square meters, in which there are temples and inscriptions. Haha caves are the highest. Other scenic spots include Fozhang Rock, Sanshan Doukou, Zenglu Rock; Mountain springs include Tianjing (Heaven Well), Renjing (Human Well). Dijing (Earth Well). Human landscape includes Monk Path, Longevity Bridge, Cloud Ladder and so on.
