To create a good environment for both tourism and investment, and to shape a new image of the Wuyi Mountains area in the reform and door opening period, in September 11,1997, the Party Committee and the Government of the city decided to set up a leaders' daily service window at the Wuyi Palace in the scenery area, with 38 city leaders at the level of deputy office director or above offering daily service in turn. Their main duties are:
1) Consultation for investors and visitors, introduction of the investment environment and preference polices;
2) Accepting complaints from investors and visitors, and solving problems and difficulties reflected in complaints;
3) Strengthening supervision over law enforcement officials and responsible for ordering concerned offices to rectify or improve the issue of "three disorders", and imposing appropriate punishment.
4) Hearing to, and documenting complaints, suggestions, and reporting to the city leadership and concerned offices.
