Located in the southeast of the
Xiangshan County in
Ningbo, 9km from the center of the county, the Songlan Mountain Seashore Scenic Site is planned to cover an area of 25.1 square km. Combining both the natural scenery of the mountain and sea and the historical relics, the Songlan Mountain Seashore Scenic Site is composed of 5 scenic regions: Welcoming the Visitors with all kinds of Fruits, Flying Boats Cleaving the Waves, Warm Sands of the Strait and Mituo Zhaojing etc.
Thanks to the work of nature, the Songlan Mountain is endowed with the winding bay, beautiful rocks, elegant capes and exquisite beaches. Meanwhile, the washing and eroding of the sea produce the unique imposing rock forest. There are altogether 5 to 6 beaches endowed with pure and fine golden sands in the Songlan Mountain area. Tourists can choose to play in the sea or climb the mountain to view the unexceptionable scenery of the sea or listen to the roar of the sea. Mountain, sea plus beach here create an enchanting and harmonious scenic line.
Moreover, the Songlan Mountain Seashore Scenic Site abounds in historical relics as well as cultural scenic spots such as the Tashan Cultural Relic which has a history of more than 600 years, the Anti-Japanese Beacon Tower Relic and the ancient Mituo Temple, cultural scenes and custom of fishermen, etc.
