The Shenyang ancient aerolites spread in Lixiang Town in Dongling District in the southeastern suburb of Shenyang and Yanqianhu Town is Sujiatun, covering an area of 168 square km. The largest one is located in Huashitai Hill in Lixiang Town of Dongling District, 160 meters long, 54 meters wide and 42 meters high, weihing about 2,000,000 tons. It is the largest ancient aerolite in the world. It came into being 4.5 billion years ago, and fell 1.9 billion years ago. This precious and matchless gift from the heaven was listed as one of the seven world wonders in Liaoning Province in October 1996. The scenic spot characterized by the aerolite was approved as a national forest park in October 1991. Now it is applying for the state-level geologic relic preservation zone and will be developed into a tourist zone combining astronomy, geology, science popularization folkways, and entertainment.
