Covering 20,000 square meters, Xuanquan Remains had been an important military stronghold of Silk Road and a post station in Han Dynasty. Over 15,000 pieces of bamboo slips of Han Dynasty and 17,650 historical remains had been excavated by Gansu archaeologist team in 1990, which shocked the country's archaeologist field and added new contents to the Dunhuang art.
