85km to the east of Anxi county, Qiaowan City is at 3,146km point of the No.312 State Highway. Visitors can find different historical remains here, such as "Kangxi (Emperor of Qing Dynasty) Dreaming of Qiaowan City at Night", Bacon Towers on the Great Wall built in Han Dynasty, the winding Shule River, the Landscape of Yadan, and the scenery of the Great Desert as well. Here visitors can also see treasured statues made from ivory, human-skin-made drum, the copies of Xixia Kingdom's wall paintings from Eastern Thousand Buddha-Cave, as well as the exhibition of animals and plants specimens from the natural reserve of the extremely dry desert area.
