Located in the center of the old city of Tianjin, the Guang dong Guild Hall was built in the 33rd year (1907) under the reign of Emperor Guang Xu of the Qing Dynasty. The unique building of the Chinese traditional rectangular courtyard is a rare art treasure of wooden architecture. In 1912 Sun Yat-sen, forerunner of the Chinese, revolution, once made a speech there. The guild, hall has been turned into the Tianjin Theatre Museum.
