
The Tomb of Puhading, commonly known as Huihui Hall, is located at Nantu, Jiefang Bridge of
Yangzhou City, on the eastern bank of the ancient Canal.
Puhading was one of the 16th-generation descendants of Muhammed who came to Yangzhou to introduce the Islamic religion during the reign of
Xianchun of the Southern Song Dynasty (1265-1274).
Although built specially for Puhading, it was later a cemetery of Arabian people.
With a well-knitted structure, it I divided into a tomb garden, a Mosque, and a park. The tomb feature simplicity and tranquility amid ancient trees and flowers.
An example of Islamic culture and Yangzhou building art, the Tomb of Puhading is also the witness to the cultural exchanges between the Chinese people and those of Arabia.
