The factory is China's largest production base of railway passenger trains and manufacturer of subway cars. With an annual output accounting for 50 percent of the whole country, it is one of the world's few producers to produce more than 1,000 units annually. Covering 150 hectares, and with its buildings covering 360,000 square meters, the plant has three specialized production systems, including manufacture of railway passenger cars, mending and manufacture of subway passenger units. It has the capability of producing single and double-decker buses, quasi-express buses and special buses, and has the ability to supply passenger train units. It has provided Beijing, Tianjin and Pyongyang in Korea with 560 units so far. Now, the plant is devoting itself to developing a high-speed train, new-type subway electric bus, light-rail electric car and magnetic train. The plant sincerely hopes to cooperate with all business people at home and abroad to create a fine future together.
