The tour to Jiutai features the folk customs of the Manchu and Hui in Mangka Town, located on the western bank of Songhua River, the town was once visited by Emperor Kangxi on his inspection tour to the east. Among the 14 ancient ruins, the mountain city and the north mountain ruins are listed in the category of key relics protection sites. Strong Manchu customs still prevail here. The Hui village in Hujia Town still retains its traditions in terms of diet, living habits, marriages and funerals.
