Nong'an is the former Prefecture of Huanglong in the Jin Dynasty. The Liao and Jin dynasties left many historical sites.
The ancient pagoda of the Liao Dynasty represented typical ancient architecture. Built between 983-1030, the 40-meter-high pagoda is made of brick. It has 13 layers with eight angles. The pagoda shrunk at each layer until it became a peak to heaven. Under the eaves of pagoda are Aeolian bells, often producing sounds.
The rebuilt Jingang Temple is well proportioned, with unique and plain features. Many tourists would like to have a drink here while reading poems of Yue Fei, a famous general who resisted the Jin army.
