One of the well-known streets in
Changchun, it is located on the southeast side of the city. Extending from Dizhigong to Xinmin Square, the street is more than 20 meters wide and 2.5 km long. A garden runs through the street from south to north, turning it into a green corridor. Each May, when lilacs bloom, the street is full of their fragrance, making a walk on it delightful. Buildings along the street are Bethune Medical University, Color TV Center, Provincial Library, and some typical Japanese style buildings, such as the puppet regime state council, and military planning department. They are irrefutable evidence of Japan's invasion of China.
