Located by the Songhua River, the town has developed its tourist industry by relying on its pretty natural scenery. The Songhua River flowing here is quite clear and has a spacious water surface, dotted with many islands, like a string of pearls dropped to the ground. There fore, the town is known as "the Pearl Island". Lush shrubs and trees cover the island, providing resting places for many birds. Going down the river by boat, one sees layer upon layer of trees and cliffs, the beauty of the river and mountains giving a feeling of freshness. In addition, tourists can visit Yushu Site, fox Fairy Cave, and Zhenjiang Temple.
