Situated in No.1 Yiyuan Street, Harbin, the Hall used to be a classical French style building. Built in 1919, the Memorial Hall is well designed and elegantly furnished. On February 27, 1950, Mao Zedong worked and lived here on his way home from a visit to Moscow. In the hall are displayed many cultural relics used by Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Zhu De, such as daily articled, written instructions and inscriptions, etc.
