The Yonghengtang Church is by far the largest Christian church in the province. Facing west, the building is a two-storied brick and wooden structure. It is built on the model of ancient Chinese architecture with a superimposed and vaulted roof covered with tube tiles. The interior is embellished in the style of a Western church with brown colored doors and geometric figures, and it is designed symmetrically from south to north. The roofing is in the vaulting style, and the hall is in the shape of a cross. To the east end there is a gospel pulpit. The west part is where the services are held for worshippers. On both sides of the hall, there are rooms for the church workers. Trees and flowers are planted in the open ground and the environment is solemn and quiet.
