It was opened by Li Deyu, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty when he was Xinfan County governor, and is one of the two gardens that were recorded in historical records. It is located in Xinfan town of Xinfan country 18km away from Chengdu. The garden covers an area of 18,000 square meters, with tall ancient trees. It is a well-known garden in west Sichuan Province.
