
The provincial scenic zone of Longquan Peach-tree Mountain is located in Longquanyi District, 15 km from
Chengdu. It is one of the 10 peach flower appreciation zones in China, and covers an area of 234 square km, including 113 square km. of peach trees. The zone has several dozens of scenic sights, they are Shufang village, peach ravine, the 10-thousand mu peach garden, Baigong Canal, Longquan Lake, Ming tombs under state protection, Emperor Wen Monument of Northern Zhou Dynasty (557~581) under provincial protection, No.1 Shijing Temple of western Sichuan, and Luodai Ancient Town. The Longquan Lake covers an area of 8,273mu; it has 14 islands and 14 promontories, forming an ideal place for water sports and holidays with its beautiful environment.
