
The Shijing Temple is located 37 km from
Chengdu, covering an area of over 200 mu. The temple, originally a private house of an imperial official, was set up in East Han Dynasty (189-214). It was later donated as a temple, and named as "Lingyin Temple." In 1767, it was renamed as Shijing Temple. The Great Hall and Hall of Your Majesty and seven other halls are well-known Buddhist buildings in mid-and western Sichuan Province.
