Beijing and the Yuan Dynasty murals in
Shanxi Province's Yongle Palace. The large wall sculpture "Bodhisattva Crossing-Sea" inside Guanyin Temple was praised by well-known aesthetician Wang Chaowen as the "Oriental Venus". The Chunyang Temple is known both at home and abroad as the No.1 Confucius Temple of Honesty and Filial Piety in both ancient and modern times. The Laojun Temple (legendary founder of Taoism) stands amidst ancient pine trees. The Nanhe River links the main spots in the zone. Cranes gather on the Bird's Island, and the Peach Stream flows merrily through green trees and strange stones.
The standard international grade-A water-exercising place, refereed to as the "Oriental Pearl" occupies an area of 1,000mu, and the green grass looks like jadeite.
