It is a well-known pool, a key relic under provincial protection. The Poor, originally built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), covers an area of nearly 50 mu including the 22 mu pool. Around the pool there are traditional building, pavilions and pagodas piled rock bins, winding paths decorated with famous lowers, and its potted landscape is famous in west Sichuan.
