The village is praised as "flower village" and "farmer garden without wall." Here, a multi-functional agricultural tourist zone has been formed with its gardens in western Sichuan style, farmers' courtyard, colorful folk activities and a campfire in the evening. At the beginning of the 1990s, the villagers began to receive tourists, and now, its daily capacity for receiving tourists has reached 10,000 people. The village has won such titles of "national ecological model," "the first telephone village of Chengdu," and "provincial civilized and hygienic village." It is an ideal place for holiday, agricultural sight-seeing, and popular science visits. The village has also received Chinese and foreign state leaders on their tours of inspection and visits.
