
The temple was origin ally built in the Sui Dynasty (581-618), and renovated in the Qing Dynasty and renamed as the Temple of Bodhisattva of Wisdom. On the central axis are five halls and on both sides are a Buddha hall, a Meditation Hall, a Sutra-chanting hall, and a Thousand-Buddha Peace Pagoda. The temple covers a total area of 90 mu and is the largest among China's temples.
